Monterrey is Mexico's second private aviation hub. Business owners here are the country's heaviest users of private jets, and the city has excellent FBO facilities at Aeropuerto del Norte and Mariano Escobedo. These are the ten most popular destinations.
1. Cancún — the Caribbean favourite

Monterrey–Cancún is one of the most requested routes among families and corporate groups here. Two and a half hours and you are in the Caribbean, with none of the connections and delays of commercial flights. Recommended aircraft: the Phenom 300 for groups up to 8, or the Challenger 604 for 12.
2. Mexico City — the executive corridor

5. Houston — the gateway to the US

Houston is the number one international destination from Monterrey, particularly for energy, medical and general business. Land at Sugar Land or Hobby for convenience. At 1h 15min, a same-day return for meetings is entirely practical.
6. Puerto Vallarta — the Pacific beach

8. McAllen and San Antonio — the border and Texas

The border and Texas destinations are very practical by private jet: you skip the long queues at the land crossing. McAllen in 45 minutes, San Antonio in a little over an hour. Right for shopping, medical appointments and cross-border business.
9. Mérida — business in Yucatán

Mérida is growing as a business and tourism centre. Property and food draw increasing investment from Monterrey. A two-hour flight connects you to the Yucatán Peninsula, and from there to Chichén Itzá, the beaches at Progreso or the Tulum area.
